Hi, I know that in US they are practicing TM (transcendental meditation) as a therapy for ADHD children. Anyone any experience on effect of TM on ADHD? Thx
Meditating helps deal with stress which makes ADHD worse (stress). It doesn’t have to be TM but any kind of meditation works. We kind of Integrate biofeedback into meditating to help my son calm down and deal with stressful situations. I.e. feeling his heart rate slow, tension leaving his muscles…
I haven't tried it but I am seeing a great deal of discussion about "mindfuless" on other ADHD sites lately. I'm considering trying it with my son. I'd like to know if anyone has seen success with this in children.
